A Meditation to Connect and Winter Seed
Make yourself comfortable, sit down, make sure that your feet are on the ground, and then take a deep breath.
As you breathe out, you may breathe out all the thoughts and experiences of the day. And just allow yourself to relax. Just being with yourself.
Breathing out any tension or stress that is in your body. Breathing in peace.
Feel your body relaxing as you do that.
And now the next time that you breathe in, I’d like you to imagine that you breathe in all the way through your body, all the way to your feet, as if you are nurturing your entire body with this oxygen, with this energy of your breath.
So take a deep breath in and imagine that it goes all the way down, all the way in.
And now place your attention on your base chakra at the base of your spine, and create a grounding chord there with your intention. It’s a connection between the base of your spine and the earth.
And let that connection, that grounding chord, go very deeply into the earth.
Honour Mother Earth for her nurturing and ground deeper, feel her embrace you, feel the energy returning to you.
And then also make a grounding chord under your left foot and your right foot, and just feel those connections with Mother Earth as well.
Now bringing your attention to your Source above you. As you breath out that light and high vibration drops into the top of your head and fills your body, dancing with the energy of Mother Earth, inside you, these two energies clear and cleanse - heal and rejuvenate
And now with your attention, turn inside and go into your heart, right in to the core of your heart centre and allow that heart energy to expand as you do that, filling with the As Above and the So Below, along with your own personal heart expression. This radiates now, not just inside yourself but outwards as well, as a very bright light.
That light is filling not only your body now but your entire energy field, radiating, clearing, cleansing and healing any holes, cracks or dents in your energy field. Feeling connected, call all those that guide and protect you into your intention and meditation.
And now, now that you are centred in this way, reflect on the past year that you’ve had, and see the different experiences that you’ve had, the different learning experiences – the challenges, the victories, and also what you gained from your experiences and allow that to be shown to you now.
Ask to be shown the gifts of this previous year and keep breathing as you do that.
As you reflect on these gifts, you integrate them into your being, with each deep breath and feel who you have become, in this moment, through all the experiences that you’ve had, the building blocks to where you are now. What you have healed?
You’ve stepped up in this year – and there’s more to come, this is a special time that you can reflect on, honour your connections, your life and your future.
So take another deep breath and go back with your attention to your heart centre. Just allow the thoughts and the images and the feelings of this past year to float away again and be centred in this moment – right here, right now
And now we’re going to take a look at the future.
So imagine that you are on this pathway, this path is sparkling with snow and crystallized snow flakes glisten like stars as you walk and you turn in the direction that you want to go in, and you see or feel this path. And maybe you can see far ahead, maybe you can just see a few meters in front of you – it doesn’t matter.
Just imagine that you are standing on this path. And it’s your path, it’s your journey, so if there’s anything that you would like to encourage yourself to do or anything that you would like to experience in this coming year, you can put that intention out and bring it on to this pathway now.
You can focus on something specific, like a new job or a relationship or financial abundance – or you can focus on feelings.
Do you want to feel more relaxed, more happy, more balanced, more confident… Whatever it is, pull it in. Think about what you want for yourself, in your heart and put it in that path, like a marker or fuel stop.
Imagine what it looks like. Imagine yourself literally walking into it. Being with it, in it. Carrying it. Integrating it in your life.
With as much ease and grace as possible. You can now imagine that you start walking down this path, as you do, you realize you are waking the path of your Dreams, seeding the future. You’re fully centred in yourself. You’re with your power right here, right now and the future is now, so you know that there’s good things ahead of you.
And as you walk, the scenery might change. You might experience things that you didn’t expect. For right now you can just intend to go with the flow of that, to just move along with whatever life is going to bring you, because you have set your intention, so that is set into motion already.
And sometimes life gives you a little detour because there is something to gain from it, so it is important to be flexible and embrace the journey. Just as you would enjoy the journey as you were walking down this snowy, beautiful landscape. When you’re walking out in nature like that, you are enjoying that moment, and that’s what it is about. Remembering to see light in darkness. The rest in stillness and birth in death. You have seeded into the Mystery, connected to your Dreaming.
Now let this image go, this image of the road, of you walking, and return to feeling your body in this moment.
Take a few deep breaths and let these breaths go all the way down, all the way in. Feel how you are feeling now, what this did for you. And if you want you can bring in a feeling of excitement, or wonder, or whatever you want to bring in – feel it in this moment. Bring it into your heart, into the here and the now. Because that’s the most powerful place to create your future from. Dream it in through the heart.
Take another deep breath and as you breathe, slowly open your eyes, look around you and fully come back into the room, into the here and now, where you are now, strong, whole and fully present with your Dreams seeded and your Connection strong to your source and your future.
I lay to rest the past, I honour the present and I embrace the beauty of what is to come
